How to make a folder without name

Ever wonder that in Microsoft Windows a folder can be created without any name ? That's right ! You can create one, and its pretty simple. Usually, the Operating System doesn't allow to create a folder without providing any name, also you can not rename your folder to blank name or just enter blank space(s), it won't work. So, here is the trick !

Requirements:

  • Computer system/Laptop having Keyboard with Numeric-Pad
In case you don't have one, you can use the numeric keys printed against QWERTY pad, which can be used in combination with [Fn] keys, usually.
If your keyboard has none of the above features, then our sympathies, but you can still amaze your friends.

Now the magic part !

Step:1 Create a New folder (Shortcut = Ctrl + Shift + N)
Step:2 While Naming or Re-naming the folder, erase the pre-written name and then Press and Hold the Alt key and type 0160 from numeric pad (i.e., Alt + 0160), release the Alt key and press Enter/Return. Voila! now you have a folder without a name. Cool, isn't it ?
